It was a genuine innovator: top-to-bottom snowmaking when almost no one had it, and a lighting system that made Brodie the largest night skiing operation in the country at the time. Kelly leaned hard into his heritage, and the mountain became known forever as "Kelly's Irish Alps." The trails carried names like Shamrock, Killarney, and JFK.
