Timber Bowl, served by the speedy White Pass Quad, delivers excellent groomed cruisers and fun gladed runs, while neighboring Currie Bowl steps things up with steeper black diamond chutes and glades beneath the towering Elephant Head and Polar Peak. At the top of it all, the Polar Peak Lift accesses above-treeline bowl skiing from one of the highest summits in the Lizard Range, adding 22 runs and some of the longest descents in the Canadian Rockies. In sunny Siberia Bowl, Falling Star, a five-kilometre groomed run wrapping the resort's eastern boundary, ranks as the longest run on the mountain. With small lift lines, a mild climate, and a lively former mining town just minutes away, Fernie remains one of the most beloved, uncrowded big-mountain destinations anywhere.
