Green trails are accessible off nearly every lift, and Mountain Road, the paved summer road that becomes a ski trail in winter, is a legendary 4.5-mile top-to-bottom cruiser that lets brand-new skiers ride from the very summit. Intermediates have more blue terrain here than any other difficulty level, with long, flowing groomers off the Sunburst Six and Green Ridge Triple. Advanced skiers head to the South Face and Glades Peak for the steepest pitches and best tree skiing, with double blacks like Outrage, Forest Bump, and Big Bang coming alive after fresh snow. Jackson Gore, with its own base area, lodge, and ski school, offers a quieter escape with some of the mountain's steeper terrain. Okemo's terrain park program is among the best in the East, with multiple progression parks and the longest superpipe on the East Coast. And with 98% snowmaking coverage, the highest efficiency of any resort in Vermont, plus renowned grooming and a fleet of modern snowcats, Okemo delivers dependable conditions from late November through mid-April.
