The Gold Coast and Shirley Lake pods deliver excellent upper-mountain intermediate cruising, while over on the Alpine side, seven open bowls and long, flowing blues off Summit Express and Kangaroo make it a favorite for cruising with the lake spread out below. Six terrain parks serve freestyle riders, and with 400 inches of annual snowfall and 300 days of sunshine, the resort has earned its title as the Spring Skiing Capital, routinely running the longest season at Lake Tahoe.
