Pats Peak Ski Trail Map - Layered Wood Wall Art
by Mountaincut
Southern New Hampshire's family mountain, now on your wall. Mountaincut's Pats Peak Ski Trail Map is a layered wooden wall art piece featuring hand-traced ski trails expertly laser cut from premium birch and/or walnut plywood, a handcrafted tribute to the Henniker ski area that has been family-owned, family-run, and family-loved for more than 60 years.
New Hampshire's Home Mountain, Captured in Wood
Set in Henniker, New Hampshire, about 90 minutes from Boston, Pats Peak has been in the same family since the very beginning. Four Patenaude brothers bought the original 200-acre plot from their father, Merle, and opened the ski area in 1963. Six decades later, the Patenaude family still runs it, and that continuity shows in everything from the friendly lodge to the bonfire burning on the mountain at night. Pats Peak delivers a 770-foot vertical drop across roughly 115 acres, with 28 trails, 9 gladed areas, 3 terrain parks, and 11 lifts. Nearly every trail is named after a wind, from Cyclone and Hurricane to Twister and Tornado. This handcrafted map captures every run, every glade, and the Cascade Basin expansion in beautiful layered wood relief.
Every Trail, Every Glade, Every Memory
Pats Peak is one of the great learn-to-ski mountains in the country, with three separate beginner areas and the longest top-to-bottom beginner runs in New Hampshire, meaning first-timers get the full satisfaction of a genuine summit-to-base descent from day one. But the mountain is far from just a beginner hill. Hurricane is one of the steepest runs in the region, and Ski Magazine has called Pats Peak the best slalom skiing terrain in New Hampshire. Nine official glades offer tree skiing that comes alive after fresh snow, and three terrain parks progress riders from their first box to expert-level features. The Cascade Basin expansion added a whole new section of mountain with six trails, two glades, and its own high-capacity triple chair, and its easterly exposure gives Pats Peak some of the most sun-drenched slopes in the state. With 100% snowmaking coverage and 100% of trails lit for night skiing, making it one of the largest night skiing operations in northern New England, Pats delivers reliable, all-day, all-night winter fun.
Exceptional Craftsmanship, Made in the USA
All Mountaincut wooden trail maps are precision laser cut and etched, hand-stained, and finished in the United States using birch and/or walnut plywood. The two-layer construction creates a rich, dimensional look where the mountain's ridgeline, glades, and trail network stand out in beautiful relief. Hanging hardware comes preinstalled, so your new trail map will be on display in minutes.
Because each piece is crafted from real wood, no two maps are exactly alike, with natural variations in the grain and stain giving every piece its own character, just like a Friday night under the lights with the bonfire glowing at Pats.
The Perfect Gift for Pats Peak Devotees
Whether you took your very first turns here, raced on the FIS trail, spent your teenage winters in the terrain park, dropped into Hurricane on a cold morning, or have been bringing your own kids back to the mountain that taught you, this map is a lasting reminder of a ski area that has stayed in one family and welcomed generations of others. Independently owned and accessible on the Indy Pass, Pats Peak deserves a place on your wall. Mountaincut products are made to order and most items ship within 2 to 3 days.
