Set in the rolling hills outside Lawrenceburg, Indiana, just 30 minutes from Cincinnati, Perfect North Slopes is one of only two ski areas in the entire state and the beating heart of skiing in the Ohio Valley. The origin story is pure Midwest: in 1980, Clyde and Ella Mae Perfect sold cattle to fund the transformation of their 200-acre family farm into a ski hill, starting with a rope tow, two handle tows, and a couple of runs down the big hill. Four and a half decades later, it has grown into a 100-acre operation with 23 trails, 3 terrain parks, 12 lifts including 5 chairlifts and a fleet of carpets, and a 400-foot vertical drop, drawing skiers and riders from Indiana, Ohio, Kentucky, and Tennessee. This handcrafted map captures every trail, every park, and every slope in beautiful layered wood relief.

Perfect North's 23 trails cover the full spectrum, from gentle beginner runs where thousands of Midwest kids have taken their first turns to a genuine expert descent for those who want a real pitch under their skis. Ella Mae Way, added in 2022 and named for one of the founders, stretches a half mile down the eastern side of the slopes. Three terrain parks anchor the freestyle scene: two advanced parks with jump lines and rails, plus a beginner park with smaller features for riders learning their first tricks. That park culture has produced serious talent. Olympic freestyle skier Nick Goepper grew up 15 minutes away and spent up to 12 hours a day training at Perfect North before making his way to the Winter Olympics. With 100% snowmaking coverage powered by an ever-expanding system, 100% night skiing, and a 23-lane tubing park that runs 750 feet down the hill, Perfect North squeezes every ounce of winter out of an Indiana season.
